So far, I have hired Nacho and his crew at Seattle Pacific for 5 jobs. Two years ago (2023), I had a large tree branch fall on the roof of our house and decided it was finally time to replace the whole thing. I got Nacho's contact info from a neighbor and he and his crew were out here within a couple days removing the roofing material (worn-out shingles and torch down membrane), and installing new shingles and torch-down. They found a bunch of water damage under the torch-down section, so the old plywood needed to be pulled up and replaced. In addition I had them remove a sky-light that was the cause of the water damage and they repaired the water-damaged ceiling drywall in our kitchen. I don't have the exact costs at hand but but I seem to recall that it was in the $15-17K ballpark, which seemed quite reasonable to me.
We were so satisfied with Seattle Pacific's work that when we moved forward on a DADU project last year (2024), we had our GC request a bid from them. They ended up doing the roof, hardie board siding (including painting), 2nd floor porch railing (including staining), and 2nd floor interior painting, trimming (stained fir) and hanging the interior doors. I'm not in the construction business myself, so when I say "It looks great!", it may not carry much weight. However, I have several friends and neighbors who are carpenters, builders, or handy-men and they all have commented on how well-done and attractive the final product is.
I have already discussed with Nacho several renovation projects in the house that we are planning when we can save up the necessary financial resources and look forward to working with him and his crew again in the future.Read More
